mi-pad was born out of the many things experienced, confident travellers disliked the most about hotels - check-in and check-out queues; problems checking-in after hours; misplacing or forgetting to return hotel room keys to restrictions on after-hours access; poor internet, issues with  TV and streaming; from bad lighting and unbearable room temperatures to uncomfortable beds.

With mi-pad those days are over. We’ve redesigned the hotel experience to turn gripes into grins.

"It's right in the heart of Queenstown. Staff were friendly and the rooms were comfy and clean. If you download the app, you can control your room temperature and lighting scheme through that, and use it as your key but if you're not tech savvy, don't worry - you can still get a regular key card. The free tea and coffee machines on each floor were a nice touch. A great value hotel!"

"The bed was super comfy, bathroom modern and had everything you needed. One of the best parts was you could connect your Netflix and watch tv if the weather was a bit miserable. The free tea and coffee vending machine was awesome and the staff super friendly and helpful! The rest of the hotel was beautifully designed and very traveller friendly. The hotel was great for a quick walk into town and close to all the things to do in Queenstown."
